At our school, the welfare and safeguarding of every child is our top priority. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where scholars feel valued, respected, and secure. Our dedicated staff are trained in safeguarding practices and work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure that all scholars are protected from harm. We have clear policies and procedures in place to identify and respond to any concerns promptly and effectively. By promoting a culture of openness and trust, we empower scholars to speak up and seek help whenever they need it.
We want to ensure that your child’s welfare and well-being is protected. Since March 2020, we have monitored an open email address – safeguarding@astrea-longsands.org for scholars, and parents and carers to contact us if they are anxious or worried. Our scholar support team remain ready and available to support you with your learning and your general progress.
